Reserving the pavilion

The large pavilion at Shooting Star Park can be reserved through Washington City for a fee. Everything else in the park (the playground, courts, and trail) is first come, first served and can't be reserved.

  • Applications are online only. The city won't take a pavilion reservation over the phone or in person.
  • Apply at least 7 days before your event.
  • City code requires a reservation for gatherings of 25 or more people.
  • Planning something bigger than a normal pavilion booking, with vendors, amplified sound, or road closures? That's a Special Event Permit instead, and it needs 45 days' notice.
